## Summary Thread visitors through the rest of `apply_type_mapping`: callable and protocol types. ## Test Plan Added mdtest that previously stack overflowed.
Markdown files within the mdtest/ subdirectory are tests of type inference and type checking;
executed by the tests/mdtest.rs integration test.
